The story of our puppet theatre is inseparably tied to the brilliant and charismatic figure of my father, Ciro Mercurio.
More than just an heir to a family tradition, Ciro was a true pioneer in the world of puppet theatre. With bold vision and innate talent, he created a stage that went beyond simple entertainment — it became an immersive experience, a journey into imagination and culture.
Ciro turned what was once a solitary craft into a shared family passion. It became a collective project, connecting generations and carried forward with enthusiasm and unity.
We siblings still vividly remember those early days — barely teenagers, fully absorbed in this shared dream during the few free hours between school and daily life. Thanks to his mastery and mentorship, our puppet theatre became not only a place of entertainment but a vehicle for cultural expression across Italy.
Through my own vision, creativity, and imagination, the theatre was reimagined and quickly reached new heights, not only in artistry but in its cultural relevance and national recognition. Our tradition gained new dignity, and the craft itself grew in artistic and human value.
